From Struggles to Success: We do it together
Today I am going to talk about the virus Covid-19. This isn’t about whether it is harmful or not and this is not a political discussion, this is simply my observations of how Covid-19 affected me and most likely is affecting many others. For one, it’s a scary time right now whether that be due to uncertainty in our careers and jobs, fear of the virus, stress spending time with our family members more than we would normally be with them, all of it adds up. So far talking to my family and friends there are a few things I’ve noticed. Some are baking (myself included) to soothe themselves from all the stress. Gyms aren’t open or if they are, they are limited and chock full of new rules and motivation is dwindling in many of us.
While some positive effects have come out of it such as cooking more meals at home, spending more time with your loved ones, and learning new ways to get the jobs done, it’s also gotten more complicated. I for one am having to completely change everything about my job and the way I work with my clients. This brings me to the point of this post. I wanted to let my readers and clients know what to expect in the coming months. Currently I am in the process of creating pre-recorded workout programs. I am learning all new information about how to care for your body at home. I am paying attention also to learning more about nutrition and will be following up with a more extensive nutrition degree in the near future. I have decided this is the only way that I can help all of you responsibly. Through this I am having to learn about my own mentality and how it hinders me and try to instill a sense of excitement in the journey of getting healthy. It’s not always easy. In fact, as I mentioned before some of it is grueling. Taking a cold hard look at all the bad habits I have developed and now trying to figure out how to break those habits. Beginning next week, I will be posting three times a week.
I want to know from all you readers and clients, what do you want to hear about? What is working for you right now and what isn’t? How do you find yourself fairing during this difficult time when the world is basically turned upside down?
I will be sharing my wins, my knowledge, and the struggles I am facing because at the end of the day, the whole point of this blog is to show you all that you are not alone. We are in this together and that is the only thing we can really count on right now.
